Charlie was involved with Frank Gunstone in the early years of Lipid Analysis in St Andrews and in the transfer of the unit to the Mylnefield site.
His publications on lipids include NMR spectroscopy, isolation and identification of fatty acids and metabolic studies using labelled lipids and most recently in conjunction with Peter Clough, ‘Authentication of Borage Oil’ published in Lipid Technology, October 2014. 

Charlie is a consultant to Mylnefield Lipid Analysis.
