From Aberdeen: Take the A90 south t o Dundee, following the Kings way around the city in the dir ection of P erth to the roundabout by the Landmark Hot el (formerly Swallow). Turn left into Riverside Avenue (signposted for the city centre A85) and t ake the ne xt on the righ t signposted for Invergowrie. Follow Main Str eet past the shop s and the Post Office taking the next left into Errol Road. Follow the road round a sharp ri ght hand be nd. The e ntrance to The James Hutton Institute is marked with a sign a t the f oot of the drive on y our right.
From Perth: Take the A90 in an eas terly direction to Dundee t o the r oundabout by the Landmark Hot el (formerly Swallow). Invergowrie is served by the 16 and 77 bus r outes. There are bus s tops on Main Str eet and Err ol Road and the re is a footpath to The James Hutt on Institute between the houses on Err ol Road.
