Claire Traynor is Head of the Unit and
Chief Analyst. She is an experienced analytical lipid chemist
with the responsibility for managing the staff and overseeing
all the analytical work.

Frank Gunstone - The founder of the
Mylnefield Lipid Analysis at St Andrews University. He has
been active in the field of lipid research for more than
50 years and is the holder of several prestigious awards.

Bill Christie is non-executive
Chairman of Mylnefield Lipid Analysis. He has published
several books on aspects of lipid analysis and received
the Dutton Award of the American Oil Chemists' Society for
his work in this area. He was awarded an MBE for "Services
to the Scottish Crop Research Institute" in the New
Year's Honours List, 2000, and the Bailey Award of the AOCS

Jonathan Snape
Commercial Director of MRS. Jonathan has experience of working
in the oils and fats industry with Unilever as well as a
PhD in biochemical engineering and an MBA from the University
of Strathclyde. He is responsible for new business development
and marketing Mylnefield Lipid Analysis.

Sheena Rowbottom - a senior analytical
chemist and Deputy Head of Mylnefield Lipid Analysis - is
our expert on the analysis of clinical samples, and she
now has considerable experience in this area.

Kevin Wood had considerable experience
in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in GLP-compliant
laboratories, before joining us in 2002. He carries
out most of the blood lipid analysis undertaken in the
laboratory. |

Lee Hunter, a keen graduate Biological
Chemist, has several years experience of Lipid Analysis
and partakes in some of the more complex lipid analysis
carried out by the laboratory. |

Gary Dobson is accomplished in many
chromatographic techniques and in mass spectrometry as applied
to a wide range of lipid analytical problems. He heads the
lipid research effort at the Scottish Crop Research Institute
and is an advisor to the Mylnefield Lipid Analysis. |

Charlie Scrimgeour has extensive experience
of lipid analysis and analytical instrumentation, and also
has interests in stable isotope analysis for a range of
materials including lipids. He is an advisor to the Mylnefield
Lipid Analysis. |

Gillian Birch, a graduate Chemist,
joined Mylnefield Lipid Analysis in early 2006. Before
joining us Gillian worked in various laboratories analyzing
agrochemicals (Argoserve), nylon (Du-Pont) and wood (SCRI),
and she has also worked in the chemical waste industry. |
